Raynaud — White Gold from Limoges Since 1911. Three Generations of French Porcelain Art.
In 1911, Martial Raynaud — a cosmopolitan porcelain dealer who had traveled the world selling the finest white gold to wealthy clients across Europe and Russia — decided to create his own decoration workshop in Limoges, the city whose exceptional kaolin deposits had made it the undisputed capital of fine French porcelain since the eighteenth century. By 1919, his success led him to acquire and completely reorganize the historic Montjovis factory, establishing Porcelaines Raynaud as a fully integrated manufacturing house. What followed was three generations of family entrepreneurship guided by art, gastronomy, and an insatiable curiosity for creative collaboration: artistic partnerships with Salvador Dalí, Jean Cocteau, Christian Tortu, and Alberto Pinto, alongside legendary chef collaborations including Anne-Sophie Pic and Thomas Keller. In 2015, Raynaud joined Ercuis within the Arcturus Group, uniting two of France's greatest tableware houses under a shared commitment to excellence. In 2018, Raynaud became one of the first porcelain makers certified under the Geographical Indication Porcelaine de Limoges — a formal recognition of its uncompromised provenance. At Pastry Chef's Boutique, Raynaud Limoges brings the poetry of French fine porcelain to the American luxury table.
